Have eaten there many times and I do mean many times. The food and service has always been fine. I've never had a complaint. Remember, this is a diner not a 5 star hotel!

Always fresh , well prepared, and delicious. The restaurant is very clean, service is friendly and courteous. They keep your coffee cup filled.We visit often.

The food was good but the waitress kept calling my friend and I " sweetie", " honey", "deerie" and finally said, " ok Mama, what can I get you,?" How rude!!!!! I won't be going back anytime soon!

I Monday evening April 4th before's we met up with a family member and a friend to have dinner at the Atlantic family restaurant restaurant. We are all retired and it was nice to get together have dinner and chat with each other. We had noticed lately they had been charging extra for every little thing such as dinner rolls external dinner rolls extra salad dressing onions for your salad and so forth they told us One dinner roll per order or a dollar each extra . 50 cents for extra cup of salad dressing and 80 cents extra for onions for your salad . At 1st we thought this was because of supply and trucking situation going on right now. But won't we go to other restaurants this did not take place. Portions have also been getting smaller the service has also been declining this night we put our orders in for coffee and waters with eat in waters with the waitress a few minutes later we put I'm gonna say that we put in our dinner orders we waited around 30 minutes or so and then both our sales and dinners came out at the same time . Needless to say we were not happy as the chicken got cold is we started with our salad.. When we ask for more coffee as a good waitress would walk around to see if the customer needed a refill we were told by this waitress who wore pink crocks and whand was obese for her age that she only worked at her own pace. We aread we all agreed that statement fit her perfectly for a 300 pounder and we all chuckled about it. We also were wondering how she got in this profession. When we complained Another waitress who looked middle age and apparently life has not been too kind to her she also Is angry at the world personally Called us trash and we should eat somewhere else. UnrealThe owner Who is known to discipline his employees in front of customers as of complaints found elsewhere on this page is also disturbing. Needless to say we will not be back for this treatment and would not recommend eating here at the Atlantic restaurant . Whatever happened to the customer is always right. I had to give one star for the rating on this page I would give it no stars because even the owner treats his customers with No respect He will tell you right to your face that he needs his waitresses more than he needs his customers Without the customers you don't need the waitresses because your business will fail Without paying customers.Majority of the waitresses there are fine but there are many that need to be removed

What a disappointment.  My wife and I have been eating at The Atlantic Family Restaurant for many years. Other than feeling uncomfortable when the manager yells at his employees in front of everybody, we have never had anything negative to say. We even developed relationships with some of the waitresses. Well, Friday  (2/4/22) that all changed. We ordered our usual, two beer-battered fish fries to go. When we got home, we discovered they were very small, over cooked and curled up. They looked like burned-out canoes. I immediately called the restaurant. The girl apologized and said there was no manager on duty. She took my name and number and assured me someone would contact me the next day. No one ever called. I waited till the following Friday (2/11/22) and went back to talk to the manager in person so we could get our fish fries replaced. Not only did I have pictures of the fish, but I also had phone recordings of my conversations with the waitress. He started out by denying he recognized her voice. Then, to my shock, he claimed the fish were mini fish fries and offered to replace them, but only if I paid the difference in price. I reminded him that we paid for full size fish fries and had the receipt. I also reminded him that we could not eat the ones we received because they were overcooked. He kept trying to justify why he should not have to replace them because he was losing money. He even tried to blame the waitress for not giving him the message last week. "How is that my fault?", I asked. Finally, after seeing his customers were starting to notice, he said "so what do you want?" Obviously he was not used to people he couldn't intimidate. I told him I wanted the two fish fries replaced. Looking very disgusted, he put his hands up and walked away. About 5 minutes later, a waitress came over and took my order. When she brought the food out, she was very nice and apologized. I thanked her but said the manager is the one who should have apologized. I asked his name and found out he is actually the owner! They call him Chris, but I believe his last name is Christofilopoulos. It's a shame, but he lost more than the cost of a couple fish-fries that day. Needless to say, we will never go to The Atlantic Family Restaurant again.

We stopped going to this restaurant. Not once, but TWICE we found a hair in our food. It was short dark hair and when I told the waitress, she went to the back, came back to our table and said the owner said it was my hair. My hair was long and blond at the time. Wow. He would not refund. Either time. They are disgusting and dirty, they keep to go food on the floor in the back kitchen. Read it for yourself on the Monroe county health violations. He yells at the waitress's and is a disgusting man, comes out in a dirty t shirt at times. Never EVER again!

Never had a bad meal here. Managed the way it should be ,, The waitress's are excellent !

I ordered a take out dinner and I was told I have to leave a 15% gratuity I don't think I should be charged. I do think that should be my choice

Stop by to pick up an order to go Bill had 15% gratuity added would not take it off if I want to tip a waitress I will do it not forced to had to leave one star to enter review they do not get any stars
