The chicken wings and oxtail were absolutely delicious, and the fried fish, cornbread, and French fries did not disappoint either. Though the wait time was a bit longer than expected, the hearty, flavorful meals made it well worth it, especially after a day of hiking or exploring Bannerman Island. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with friendly service and satisfying, home-cooked soul food that brings a true taste of southern comfort to Beacon.
