Returning to Ben's after several decades was a bittersweet experience, as the flavors were familiar yet different from what I remembered. The lean pastrami and delicious tongue sandwiches were highlights, while the pea soup, derma, and sour pickles were decent. Despite the changes, Ben's still holds a special place in my heart as a beloved deli of my past. The memories and flavors of Ben's will always be cherished, and I hope others have the chance to savor its offerings before it closes its doors for good.
