Stepping into this charming diner instantly transports me to a simpler time, where the atmosphere is welcoming and the food is consistently delicious. With generous portions and friendly service, it has quickly become a beloved stop on my travels, especially for their perfectly cooked lamb chops and enormous slices of homemade cake that are perfect for sharing.

The classic Greek diner has a cozy atmosphere with delicious food offerings, such as the broiled seafood combo and spinach pie with Greek salad. The generous portions and friendly service make it a favorite stop for my family, especially during our travels from NY to Chicago.

It is Christmas Eve. Not wanting to drive home after work only to return to town for church services, I decided to treat myself to dinner. After calling around to find other restaurants except fast food joints and this place were closing by 5:00pm, I ended up here. I probably would have been better off with fast food or Chinese take out. The service was slow but friendly. The pasta sauce heavy with marjoram and extremely sweet tasting. But, the most disturbing was finding what resembled an irregular piece of thin plastic buried in the pasta. And, the chef sent the waitress back with the announcement the object was nothing but a thick piece of onion skin. A thick piece of onion skin that could not be sliced with the serrated knife at the table.
