I ordered their lunch special, beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. I live 20 minutes from this restaurant. When I returned home, I discovered that I had been given just brown rice. There was no pork, not even one little piece. I called the restaurant and first spoke to a woman. She said that if I wanted pork fried rice, it would have been $1 more. I told her I ordered pork fried rice and would have paid the extra $1. When I ordered it, she repeated after me....."beef and broccoli and pork fried rice", told me the price and I paid her. She then puts a man on the phone. I explained to him what I had just gone ever with her. He asked me who took my order. I described her to him. He said one of the ladies at the counter couldn't hear well. But from how he described this woman, she was not the one who took my order. He kept telling me I would have needed to pay a $1 extra for the pork fried rice. I told him I would not have had a problem with that if she had told me. He made it look like it was my fault. He showed no concern whatsoever and was non empathetic and non apologetic. It would have been nice if he had said the next time you come in, we'll make it right for the trouble. He was totally dismissive.

When I had ordered, there was an older lady standing beside me. She said "these people are not very friendly at all". I didn't know at the moment what she was talking about but I found out afterwards. If you order their food and there is a problem with it, if what I experienced is their standard, don't expect them to care enough to want to fix the problem.

Order at your own risk. And if you order takeout, check your food before you leave.

Food is always delicious. The portions are large, and they do not use a lot of cheap filler type ingredients., plenty of meat and seafood in the dishes.
