This is my favorite place for "real" comfort food. It is a buffet style restaurant but they also have some cook to order items. Everything is always seasoned well and their bread pudding is on a different level. The servings are phenomenal for the price (11.99 lunch plate) and it comes with a drink. You can't match that with any other restaurant and especially not now with the cost of inflation. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is more than pleasant which all transfers to the taste of the food. There's a drive up window to order without getting out and now you can even order, pay online, and just zip through the pickup window. Be mindful it's only open for lunch (11-2pm) so give yourself some time but they are pretty quick. My favs are fried pork chop, baked chicken, Lima beans, cabbage, mac and cheese, rice and gravy, beef tips, jalapeño bread, and of course, the bread pudding. Those are just my favs but everything on the menu is awesome!
