We had a birthday dinner at Motherland Kitchen for my son Travis and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We didn't know anything about African cuisine and the owner sat down with us and explained everything. Food was so good and we will definitely visit again!

Motherland Kitchen is the place to go for authentic and delicious West African cuisine. My wife orered egusi a savory pumpkin seed based stew from southeast Nigeria with pounded white yam. I had Ndole considered the national dish by most Cameroonians. This was eaten with fried ripe plantains with the edges perfectly carmelized. Both dishes were sublime.
