We stumbled upon Phil Your Belly while we were deciding not to eat at another over-rated restaurant that everyone was bragging about but we determined had over priced food and indifferent waitresses. As we exited this restaurant we walked to our car and decided to look around the area for something more in line with what we would be wanting to eat. We noticed a chalk board with a large listing of Italian food at very reasonable prices. There were two more chalk boards with American favorites highlighted. The menu posted on the window showcased other inviting meals to be enjoyed. So we decided to eat there. The eggplant Parmesan over spaghetti was abundant, piping hot, and a cheese lovers delight! It came with a generous salad of diced, bite-sized vegetables and shredded mozzarella cheese and a nice serving of garlic bread. There was plenty of food left to make a nice take home box for another full meal! My friend had a very nice meal of lasagna that also was delicious. (She can tell her own story.) We are looking forward to our next trip to the North Georgia mountains in September and will definitely make another side trip to visit Phil Your Belly and the friendly, attentive people that work there. I almost forgot, they have a wonderful selection of desserts that they make themselves. I don't normally order desserts but the price was good and the taste was excellent.

OMG we come to Lake Heartwell on vacation went to downtown Lavonia we normally go to Bella Bella mozzarella but we wanted something new Phil your belly is by far the best Italian restaurant I have eaten at in this area I had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo without a doubt homemade not out of a jar like other places my husband had the prime rib And he said it was amazing he was even surprised but they had homemade mashed potatoes to go with it you know like the mashed potatoes your grandma used to make with a little lumps in it if we didn't live in Atlanta we'd be regulars every week but I guess I'll have to wait till the next time we're on vacation five stars in my book from the time you walk in till the time you check out

Great food and allot of it. Allot of fun also. Highly recommed great steaks and seafood like catfish Salmon and low country boil to die for
