Terrible service, I called to ask if they had pork hocks. They confirmed that they did so I drove down and when I got there the owner said that it was reserved for someone else and refused to give me any.

I started shopping at the modern butcher about six months ago and I now go weekly, despite the commute. The quality of the meats (all locally sourced and the board tells you from where) and selection are unrivaled in the area. On top of that, Warren, Lisa, and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to offer advice on different cuts, cooking methods, or recipe ideas. I cannot say enough good things about this business and highly recommend that everyone give them a chance. You cannot go wrong with the sandwiches, the meat selection, or the various other items in the shop. If you haven't shopped here yet, do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won't regret it!
