I don’t leave reviews often but I feel I need to after our first visit today…. We were seated as soon as we walked in being told our server would be right with us. We waited at least 10 minutes for anyone to come take a drink order. Took a drink of the “sweet” tea I had ordered and was for sure not sweet. Of course mistakes happen so not a big deal. We placed our breakfast order because it was 10:45am. It wasn’t busy at all(maybe 5-6 other tables) and most people were already eating but for some reason we waited over 30 minutes for our food. When our food arrived our waiter said “oh we are out of biscuits so I have toast on the way” I had ordered the biscuit and gravy meal so this should probably be something you should let someone know before bringing food out so they have the option to change what they ordered. About 5 minutes later the toast arrived… cold. By this point we were just wanting to pay and leave so we walked up to the counter after waiting a bit for a ticket. While paying there was debate if our ticket was even correct. I let the lady know exactly what we had and told her our frustrations about our visit so maybe in the future someone else wouldn’t go through this…. She offered a discount and said that our server had only been working there a week or so. Totally understand about being new but a customer shouldn’t have to pay the price and I don’t think he was at fault for running out of food that was ordered. We had really hoped to add this place to our usual places to visit but I don’t think we will be back.
