A special place in the sea of "ho hum" restaurants just off the 40 major highway coming south to Wilmington It's uniqueness extends from the fresh, wholesome ingredients of the food (clearly prepared and served with care and perhaps a sincere desire to share the story of "just good Mexican food" thru your tastebuds) The menu is not the fast food recipes of Taco Bell when you grab a bite in passing, but dishes that are to be savored and eaten to refresh & help you appreciate truly authenticate Mexican dishes for the common man. Down to earth, basic, real. I always want to "lick my plate" when I'm finished -especially when I have dessert! Owned/run by a special hardworking family The Patriarch has his head on straight and the family demonstrates easy teamwork to make it an unusual experience you will be glad you stopped in for a visit/bite to eat. .
