This is a terrible, lazy, AND expensive restaurant. When you call in with a specific order (say, the chicken to be extra crispy or the beef to be spicy) they don't pay any attention. It could be a busy Friday night or a quiet Tuesday night. The ingredients are horrible. The beef is gray. The chicken is soggy. The soup is bland. This happens all the time and this place needs to be called out on it.
That's all well and good if you're ordering from your run-of-the-mill 2nd Avenue place in Manhattan. But this place trades on its location near the water in Port Washington and its fairly nice decor in the restaurant. So they charge you $12 for dishes that are absolutely unimaginative, bland, and nothing you couldn't make at home for a fourth of the price.
Stay far away from this place. I live in town, and I've eaten at all the restaurants in PW, and this is - cost for value - the worst place in town. To the point I am angry about it.
