A great venue with top notch service and food. Very welcoming staff and the views are amazing. Loved the spicy chicken rolls and wagyu filet. We return with friends for the experience

Undercooked Food. Poor Customer Service to correct. Staff and Manager had no regards and didn't want to correct. Still made to pay for it, plus the 20% gratuity. Take your money elsewhere. This place is not it. I will be filing a report with the BBB.

Long Post But Necessary"¦"¦
I just went to patronize an establishment
(Top Shelf Grill in Southaven Ms) that I have dined at on numerous occasions, but I will NEVER EVER visit this restaurant again!!!

To begin, my party and I ordered 4 appetizers to start off and the waitress only brought out 2. We NEVER saw her again until our main entrees started arriving at the table. Then once she finally returned to the table and I brought it to her attention she then proceeded to tell us that she forgot about one of the other appetizers and that they were out of the other one.

2nd flag, one guest ordered a well done burger that was brought out totally pink on the inside. Another guest entree, the chicken was not only unseasoned but also undercooked. Now correct me if I'm wrong but the only way you can tell if your food is done or not is to taste it right? Top Shelf Grill said they wasn't going to take it back but also that they wasn't going to take it off the ticket because it had been tasted. They did take the burger back to try to make it right but NEVER brought it back!!!

3rd flag, We constantly & consistently demanded to speak to the manager but she firmly told our waitress that she WAS NOT coming to speak to us because she was TOO BUSY. After waiting 30 mins to speak to the manager, we simply asked for our check. The waitress said the manager told her that she'll remove the burger, but the chicken entree would remain on the check. One of our guest went to the back to speak to the manager since she was too busy to come to us, and she looked at my guest and said she's NOT coming out to talk to no one. Wow"¦..

4th flag, after the waitress never brought our bill out and we realized we were being held hostage; we then were greeted by the Southaven Police Department (LOL). Upon their arrival, they were totally uninterested in anything we had to say and was only interested in DEMANDING us to pay our bill. Once the police arrived, magically the manager came out the back and had plenty of time then. The officers said "The faster we pay our bill, the faster everyone can go home." They cause a HUGE uproar in front of a restaurant full of customers making us look like were being rude & obnoxious. I have Never been treated in this manner and was totally embarrassed by this act displayed by this establishment.

Now I'm definitely NOT the one to pull a race card but this whole incident & mistreatment was solely based on RACE!!! I will NEVER spend another cent in this establishment and I hope everyone else who has been treated this way by this establishment DOESN'T either. #PoorService #HorribleFoodExperience #TerribleManagement #RacistBusiness #TrashBusiness
