The chicharrón de pollo here is one of the best I've ever tasted, and the smoothies are so good that I ordered takeout around lunchtime despite the wait, which the staff kindly communicated. As a Costa Rican, the dishes remind me of home, especially the red snapper in red sauce and the pollo guisado, both of which are consistently delicious even if the service and ambiance are quite basic.

The chicharrón de pollo here is absolutely incredible, and the smoothies are just as impressive; I couldn't resist ordering takeout around lunchtime. While my food took a little longer to prepare, the staff kept me informed, and the crispy fries paired perfectly with my Cuban sandwich, which just needed a bit of sauce. As a Costa Rican, this food takes me back home, and I can confidently say that their red snapper in red sauce is phenomenal, making it a must-try for anyone in Queens Village.
