This is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent. The service staff are friendly and helpful. The food is made with well thought out ingredients and the menu serves all interests of food styles. The owner, Judy, takes great pride in her restaurant and the quality of the food she serves. The soups are absolutely
outstanding. We have had meat, fish and poultry dishes and they are all excellent. No matter what you eat and how full you are, you cannot leave without having the freshly made desserts. Summer, 2018

Great views and dining experience. My wife tried the vegan menu and enjoyed it. I enjoy the fish tacos. Will be back soon.

Excellent food!!! I liked my service! She was very good. Extremely friendly. However was a little disappointing to watch another female waitress drinking out of a glass and then serving it to a customer! I wanted to say something. My husband asked me not to. I would go back! But would however make sure I didn't get that waitress !!!

I LOVE this place. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband and I enjoyed every bite. The owner is very nice and takes pride in the food served. The crab bisque was to die for and the fresh homemade desserts served with fresh homemade whipped cream were out of this world. Everything we ate was wonderful. I can not say enough about this place. I have read people say this place is pricey, in my opinion you are getting quality food made with local and organic ingredients the food is priced right. I will come back again and again and again!

Finally got to experience this amazing restaurant! My parents and I were a little nervous about the price at first (because of some of the reviews I had read) but we were totally proven otherwise!

My mom enjoyed a wonderful LARGE glass of wine and my dad enjoyed a tasty dark organic winter sam adams on tap. The dinner began with a fresh, warm whole grain/seed/everything bread with herbed dipping oil- so tasty!! We were then served refreshing salads made with all dark leaves fresh carrots and onions and an amazing house dressing! In perfect time we received our meals- mom got the seafood dish (scallop & crab stuffed flounder with a miraculous sauce which totally made the dish), dad got the chicken franchIesse (incredibly tender and tasty), and i got the grass fed beef hanger steak- THE MOST AMAZING STEAK WE HAVE EVER HAD....since we all had to share our plates with one another. Each dish was served with freshly sauteed spinach or freshly steamed string beans.

We were overwhelmingly pleased with the experience of the Fat Lady Cafe, WOW.

My father and myself had the Cajun Lobster and I have to say that it was the best dish I had eatten in the last 5 years. The chef (Jay) was fantastic, the service was top shelf, and the restaurant was very clean. Overall, I give the Fat Lady the highest marks. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it an 11.

Keep up the good work !!!!!!

just awful. no service. below average food. higher prices than warranted.
