During the summer, grabbing a bite at a roadside snack bar with lobster rolls and delicious french fries is the perfect treat. Next time, I definitely need to try the famous Michigan dish - it's on my list for the next visit. Whenever we pass by on our way to Plattsburgh, we always make a quick stop to enjoy a Michigan dog. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is served promptly, making it a great pitstop during our summer travels.

Today Aug 12, 2022 I visited Genes for the first time in a year. My friend and I would go over from Vermont once a week, sometimes more, for Michigans. He passed away 1 year ago so today I wanted to do something we usually did together, get Michigans. Well I was so very dissapointed , the bun was small, the the sauce was skimpy and just not like it usually was, very little onions and I asked for lots, and most of all the hot dog had a weird taste to it. All in all it was not worth the trip over, oh yea the onion rings were great.Not sure what was going on and I understand every one is cutting corners to save money. I know this was my last trip.
