We found this gem. It's remarkably cool inside with a retro vibe. We loved the everything we got. Sauce is marinara and homemade. What real Italian sauce in Italy is like, not the thick heavy stuff Americans seem to think is good. Owner came to the table and seems to genuinly care. Was nice talking to him. We will definitely return on a regular basis for sure. I Saw a couple not nice reviews, honestly I think they must be from either ex employees or the competition because this place was great.We chatted with a couple other tables and they all seemed very happy too.

Repeat customer as great atmosphere, large portions and robust vegetarian and vegan menus. Haven’t been disappointed yet! Chef visits each table and very accommodating. You won’t be disappointed.

First time at Poppa Brillo’s in East Greenbush today… I was very happy with the atmosphere, service and food. I’d definitely go back👍
