We have been fans of Hokkaido for almost 15 years, and we are still devoted to this delightful restaurant. Few places could sustain this level of quality and service and friendliness, but Hokkaido has done it. Every year they close for a month or so in mid-winter and we are so happy when Jerry and Maga and the whole staff come back to serve us again. It is important to know that the menu at Hokkaido is extensive and the food is excellent; you can sit and eat at the service counter and see three chefs preparing the sushi, sashimi and rolls just a couple of feet away. We prefer to sit at a table in the very comfortable restaurant. There is also an extensive outdoor eating area but of course not in use at this time of year (February). Hokkaido is a treasure in our little Village.
