I took my friend there last night for her birthday. Portions were HUGE to match their high prices. Why not charge a reasonable price and give a normal portion size? My $23 order had "calamari" in it as well as pork belly. When I got it there were no pieces of calamari body just very large pieces of very large tough tentacles that looked to be tips from a small octopus rather than delicate calamari, the pork belly was very thin and tough as well. When I said something she said "yes octopus, same thing". I said no it is not the same thing and she ignored it.
Each of our portions could have easily fed 2 people. My friends $35 short rib order was over cooked to where the meat shredded"¦.not succulent. Like many other plates in the restaurant her order had a true mountain of bean sprouts on the plate.
No Kim chee was offered, no grills on the tables, very dissatisfied.
