It's disappointing to see such a historic seafood restaurant in Maine being so overlooked. On a recent Wednesday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty during dinner service, reminiscent of its previous location in South Portland. Despite its underutilization, my dining experience at Captain Newick's was reminiscent of the quality I remembered from its earlier days.
