Had lunch at Bella on Thursday, May 4, first time there. They clearly were not busy but we waited about 5 minutes at the hostess station for the hostess to appear. Both a bartender and wait staff saw us standing there waiting but neither acknowledged us in any way. It would have been nice to say something to the effect like “hello”, “welcome to Bella” or “the hostess will be right with you.” When the hostess did arrive, she was nice and friendly and seated us. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I ordered a 1/2 Panini sandwich and soup. The soup was tasty but came out warn, trending toward cold as was the sandwich. I have experienced this before at other local restaurants and am now wondering if this is just a regional thing. My expectation is for soup to be served hot! as well as a Panini sandwich. I read other reviews and the majority were 5 star but not today. Hopefully this was a fluke but we’re not in a hurry to go back.
