I've enjoyed consistently fresh and flavorful sushi, tender vegetable noodle dishes, and tasty teriyaki here-though some items like the katsu appetizer can be dry-with generous portions, neat packaging for takeout or delivery, friendly staff, and reliable service that makes this my go-to Japanese restaurant in Astoria.

I love the noodle dishes at this place, they cook the veggies just right and they taste super fresh. The teriyaki dishes are good too, though sometimes the shrimp can be a bit overcooked. Overall, I find the food consistently delicious and dependable, and I'll definitely be ordering from Kumo again.
