Growing up in the Bailey-Delavan neighborhood, St. Gerard's had no school lunch program back in the 1960s. As a single, working mom, my mother often allowed us to indulge in Louie's for our daily meals. The hotdogs at Louie's continue to bring back fond memories with their unchanged deliciousness, friendly service, and affordable prices. If you have a soft spot for the Louie's of Bailey and Delavan, I recommend giving this location a try for a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
