We purchased five boxes of steaks, hamburger patties, chicken, and shrimp from what we thought was Six Brothers Beef. We also didn't get everything they said we would get. We were shorted by 2 or 3 boxes from the weight of the product, but then we noticed on our receipt that the actual company name was TNT Beef, which was a contractor for Six Brothers Beef We paid $1,667, but it was supposed to be $1,556. They charged a hundred-dollar fee for something we didn't approve.
That night, we went over everything and realized that the weight of the product did not match the brochure or the quality of what was on the brochure. We were still missing items. We filed a claim through our bank for scam, fraud, and missing items, but it was denied three times since our first claim on September 27. We tried to get a hold of both companies but got no response. We spent three months with our bank trying to resolve this with no success.
We took the meat to a third-party vendor to inspect it. We found out that there was no USDA labeling or ingredients listed on any of the packages, which do not meet the required standards. We also got a written business letter from the third-party business with his assessment of the beef. We discovered that the meat was not safe to eat-it had spots that shouldn't be there and plastic substances in the hamburger patties. Now, the meat is freezer-burned because it was not packaged correctly. All of this meat added up to about $600 to $700 worth in weight.
The boxing label showed that it came from Florida, which was not what we were told. We were informed that it was locally grown, grass-fed, and cut at a local butcher. We have since filed claims with the BBB, USDA, and FTC. We have an inspector coming out on December 26th to examine the meat. Since we can't get Six Brothers or TNT Beef to return our money or provide adequate compensation or replacement, this companies meat made my family sick, and all the meat is not eatable anymore.. only been 3 months.
