The food at Ming's Wok is delicious and full of flavor, definitely worth a try! The new management has brought a noticeable improvement in the service and overall experience. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable - a great find for Chinese food in the area!

Today, I ordered three lunch specials as I often do from the typically reputable Mings Wok of Colonie during my lunch break at work.

I did not receive my specifically requested shrimp egg roll nor the correct dish of shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce (very tasty).

When I called to inform this fine establishment of my disappointing findings, the over-enthusiastic woman that answered the telephone informed me that she'd bring my egg roll later. When I asked when later was, I was told simply later. I said, I'm sorry, but I paid you know... she went on to state, I'll just bring it to you next time. I should have replied with, fine, next time I order I'll pay YOU next time. However, this unsatisfying response led me to state this was unacceptable and I hung the phone up promptly.

When I called back to state how the lunch special of shrimp and scallops was mysteriously devoid of all shrimp with just scallops remaining; the same over enthusiastic woman answered very rudely, I'll bring you your egg roll!!! I said, please listen... you did not provide me with the meal I ordered. I'm not satisfied and I need to be satisfied. She replied; We don't do that here.

I don't know if my egg roll will ever appear with or without the corrected shrimp and scallop meal. One can hope.

But I know that Mings Wok of Colonie does not satisfy their customers... they just don't do that there.

Big fat 0 and no return from a long time customer.
