It's all about Matt!
Food: My husband and I had Fried Catfish and Cajun fries. Great!
Place: Very nice. Pleasant atmosphere.
Service: Extraordinary!
Server: Matt. This is where I get into details. Everything about this place was pretty much like any restaurant we have eaten at. But, the service is what separates one location from another. Our server Matt was the point man on this and he has it in spades. He never missed a beat. He gave his real recommendations on what dishes are good and which ones are great. He kept our glasses filled, constantly making sure our table was clean. Always stopping by to make sure we were fine without being overbearing. He paid close attention to what everyone (we were a table of 8) wanted. And the whole time he smiled and presented himself as someone who loves their job. I would go back to Cajun Crab just for him. Great service. He is why I give this place a 5-star. Thank you Matt.

07/03/2023 - Horrible experience
This was my first time experiencing this restaurant when with a group of friends. The environment was very nice and the waiter was very nice and friendly. I ordered raw oysters for my appetizer and they were good and fresh. For my entree I ordered blue crabs, dungeon crabs and crawfish, I asked for garlic butter no seasoning and no spice. Waiter asked for spice level I said no spice at all. When my order came it looked weird and smelled spicy, but I thought maybe it was just me. I went to taste it and my mouth and throat was on fire had my friend to try and they confirmed it was very spicy, After looking closely my order looked just like my friends and they ordered medium spice. I can't do spicy due to having surgery and this little spice had me so sick. I told the waiter. I asked is this just garlic butter and he advised no it's not. they said they would fix and they would wash off and recook, I advised the waiter about 8 times not to wash off or recook I needed new and fresh and that spice was already cooked in there, he said okay and brought me out the same order, washed off and recooked, at this point I was so aggravated, my friends had almost finished there food and I still had not even had a bite. The manager comes over and says they sometimes try to do things easy when he is not around and he would fix it. The manager did bring me a new order and both him and the waiter was really concern about how I felt but by then I was too sick to eat and had to take it home. I was never offered anything in addition or even a half a credit, I did not get to enjoy my food with my friends and this was the worst experience. At one point waiter tried to say I gave him the wrong order because he ordered it wrong but my receipt had exactly what I ordered on it. I am afraid to eat the food now since I had to send it back twice. I would never eat here again.
