AWESOME!

Our first visit to Zavala was to celebrate my husband's birthday. Monday evening at 5:30. Only one other table occupied, but a few more when we left at 6:30. Waitress (Anna) was wonderful. Place appeared clean. Kind of pricey for Mexican. Food was unimpressive. My husband had the chile rellano and liked it. I had the Mole Con Pollo, which was seriously lacking seasoning. Very bland. The two sides included in all plates "rice and black beans" were child-mini size portions. (Least expensive items to serve!) I won't rule them out, but they need to read their reviews (others have said the same) and we will give them a few months to make changes with food or get a better chef.
