Vic has a pet elephant named Nellie, who is remarkably diligent and well-behaved, inspiring me to write a monologue titled "Vic's Diligent Nellie." On a recent trip to Nic's Village Deli, just a short trek from my house, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Royal sub sandwich I ordered, packed with sausage and cappicola, making me eager to return for more.
