Walking in this morning brought back memories of my grandparents' juke joint on Johns Island, Charleston, SC, especially when I found original Hog head cheese and other Southern specialties like slab bacon, bologna, and BBQ pulled pork. The warm hospitality made me feel right at home, and the variety of authentic Southern meats, condiments, and dry goods is hard to find elsewhere, especially in New York. The sage sausage sandwich stood out as an exceptional and affordable meal, and I plan to return for more of these unique and flavorful offerings.

Im a city boy that caught the flavor.
Of my ancestors
Its time to go back!! Now im in the, bronx.
The train ride to brooklyn is worth it .

BEST PLACE EVER FR . I discovered them bout 2 years ago im naturally from greensboro & when i say THIS STORE REMIND ME SO MUCH OF BACK HOME I LOVE IT , GREAT PPL FOR STARTERS AND BLACK OWNED
