Pixleys is a real local gem for me. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are fair. It's a family-owned diner that has been a favorite of mine for years.

Went there yesterday after a move at Tinseltown. Ordered the hot turkey sandwich and my husband the hot beef sandwich. It took 40 minutes to get our order. My turkey gravy was yellow and tasted like four. The turkey had burned edges and brown spots on it. The mashed potatoes were instant, no doubt. My husband did like his roast beef, his gravy was brown. My advice--don't eat the turkey.
