Love this grocery store with its great prices and awesome team. The store manager was even packing my bags with a smile on their face as I strolled out. It just feels right to shop here. Comparing it to the usual east coast supermarkets, Hy-Vee may be a bit smaller, but the attention to detail is what sets it apart. From the knowledgeable deli staff guiding me on ground beef choices to the cashiers checking my eggs for cracks, every little touch counts. Plus, giving free bananas to kids and stocking local goodies like Amana meats and Shullsburg cheeses adds a special charm. The only hiccup is some employees needing a bit more training, but overall, it's a gem of a spot with fantastic produce and meats, and a natural section that rivals Whole Foods.
