I went to Heirloom today, the day after Beryl. A friend recommended that restaurant. As I got there I was greeted by Carrie, the owner. She was so apologetic for not being able to open and felt so sorry. She explained to me that she was only open to give away some casseroles to her clients who had no electricity after Beryl. She was doing so in the heat and she gracefully offered me one freshly baked for my family. Carrie is a class act to say the least . As I arrived home, I was delighted by the deliciousness of the casseroles and I can't wait to go back. What a great discovery I made today!
