My husband and I visited Kitschen Bakery over the Thanksgiving holidays and had the opportunity to try a variety of baked goods over the course of a few days. Among them were Oren's eggnog cheesecake - smooth, creamy, yummy; a chocolate fudge brownie - fudgy and delicious; kale, onion and cheese quiche - tasty and the protein kick I needed: a donut muffin - huge in size and so much better than a typical cake donut; and a slice of Meyer orange pie - flavorful with a flaky lard crust. All were wonderfully delicious and the portions were large for the price. Keep in mind, these baked goods are all made without preservatives and use as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. And we took a loaf of sourdough bread home with us. Right now it is in the freezer waiting for just the right time to be made into some of best French toast ever! Can't wait to stop by again.

Attended a tea with five other women at Kitschen Bakery in Marysville, OH in early July. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. There was a wide variety of teas, starter pastries, sandwiches, and desserts to choose from on an advance order form. Served on a three-tiered tray were mini vanilla scones and croissants with strawberry, lavender, and vanilla jam to start. Sandwiches included dill cucumber, egg salad on a croissant, BLT on white, and mini ham and Swiss. The desserts were fabulous including lemon bars, triple chocolate brownies, and pale pecan blondies. There are other choices. And there was plenty to take home. The price of $25 per person was very reasonable. And all of this was served in a vintage atmosphere. My congratulations to the owner, bakers, and waitstaff.
