Salerno's is truly a hidden treasure with authentic Italian cuisine that will leave your taste buds wanting more. It holds a special place in my heart, as my family has cherished memories dining there for generations. The warm ambiance and exceptional service make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

JUST WANTED TO SAY I WISH SALERNOS WAS STILL HERE!! COULD GO FOR SOME OF THEIR DELICIOUS ITALIAN FOOD RIGHT ABOUT NOW, DAMN SHAME, NO REAL GOOD ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN NORTH RICHMOND HILL. HAVE TO TRAVEL TO A DIFFERENT AREA OF QUEENS FOR THAT NOW. DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THEY DECIDED TO CLOSE?? WAS IT LACK OF BUSINESS?? LOST THE BUILDING?? RENT TOO HIGH?? NEVER FOUND OUT WHY THEY DECIDED TO CLOSE. ANY ONE KNOW, PLEASE POST, OR EMAIL ME AT LEFTY5895@MSN.COM. THANKS A MILLION, HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON. JEFF COSTIGAN.

I GREW UP IN RICHMOND HILL, ON 108 STREET, NEAR FOREST PARK. SALERNOS WAS NOT TOO FAR AWAY, WENT THERE A LOT, VERY GOOD FFOD & STAFF. THEN ONE DAY IT CLOSED, NEVER TO REOPEN AGAIN, NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TO IT. MAYBE MOVED TO DIFFERENT PART OF THE CITY, NO IDEA, NEVER HEARD FROM AN ONE WHAT HAPPENED TO IT, WISH I KNEW, WOULD GO THERE AGAIN!!

The menus has good prices but I looked up their phone and they won't answer - they must be real busy , they say it is a four star restaurant.

I ALWAYS DID LOVE SALERNOS. I GREW UP IN RICHMOND HILL, NEVER ATE THERE AS A KID, MY FATHER DID ONCE IN A WHILE, THERE AND THE OLD TRIANGLE HOFBRAU RESTAURANT, ANOTHER RICHMOND HILL GEM, THAT SADLY, CLOSED ALSO. I REALLY WISH BOTH RESTAURANTS WERE STILL OPEN. RICHMOND HILL HAS NO GOOD RESTAURANTS TO GO TO, EVERY ONE IS OUT OF NEIGHBORHOOD, VERY SAD!!
