I recently dined at a Chinese restaurant where the food was fresh and delicious. Despite the limited English spoken by the staff, their politeness and warmth made the experience enjoyable. The portion sizes were huge, almost too much for me to handle, but I will definitely be returning for more tasty dishes.

Today I ordered from Shanghai for my third time. The first two times were okay, not exactly the General Tso's I'm used to but somewhat enjoyably edible. Today however was the worst General Tso's and vegetable fried rice I have ever had and that includes my homemade attempt at making my absolute favorite Asian dish. I asked if it could be fried crispy but that's not at all what I got. The dish tasted more like a garlic chicken, looked like Generals but didn't taste like it and the chicken was very mushy, probably overly coated to make up for the size of the chicken. The vegetable fried rice was mushy as well and had no flavor. I will not order here again, I like consistency but have not had it at Shanghai Express. I am looking for a new restaurant.

Place is awesome! The food is delicious and very well priced. My family enjoys the lunch specials and have never once been disappointed in any of the food we have ordered. Excellent and fresh meals.. you can't go wrong!
