I've been to this place quite a few times and every meal has been fantastic. The waitresses are always friendly, and it's not too crowded during the day. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a delicious meal by the fireplace, and the crab stuffed salmon was a standout dish. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was homey, and the food and drinks were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Awful. Terrible, inattentive staff. Was told there was a 45 minute wait. Several empty tables visible.

30 minutes into the wait, decide to order drinks. Asked a staff member for a drink menu, who acted like I was asking her to push a boulder up a hill. After hailing the bartender for an order he very rudely asked, "what?" And then when I said I wanted to order, I was told to "hang on."

Finally ordered a glass of red wine and a Smith's special, which is a coffee drink. Was told they did not have the wine on the menu, and we just accepted the substitute offered. Bartender brought back the red wine and a glass of white wine and walked away. No idea how much anything costs because nothing was labelled.

60 minutes into wait, I flagged the hostess and asked if our table would be ready any time soon, she said it would be about 20 minutes.

I immediately said that we were leaving and just slammed money on the bar. Didn't finish either drink. Never knew how much either drink was, but I'm sure I overpaid.

I have NEVER walked out on an establishment before, but my experience at Smith's was bad enough. I regret giving them even a single cent, but I hope they're happy with the money they didn't earn.
