We made a reservation in advance. Showed up on time. Met by "hostess" who's the owner and instead of being sat ,were left by the door for indefinite time standing. Had no choice but to sit ourselves. Then it took another 20 min to get the attention of waitress who gave us a dirty look and said someone will be with us in a second. It took another 15min. Finally one of the ladies came by and we asked if we have a chance of being served. She looked at us like we were from the different planet and left..again...She came back in 5 min. We ordered a bottle of wine, chicken pam and shrimp scampi. All comes with salad. I asked for blue cheese dressing. Food was average. Dryish. To ask for napkins was worthless trying. Survived w/o napkins. For desert we ordered Italian cheesecake. Didn't smell good. After we finished dinner we've been waiting for ab 20min to ask for a check. Nobody bothered. We got up and went to the counter. The guy (one of the owners) didnt want to turn around and pretended he was busy doing something for a while. Weve been patiently standing and waiting...this time not to be served but to PAY...Finally he turned around and said: "what?" We asked "is there any problem with us so that all the staff gives us an attitude" He said "Yes. We dont like locals!" We couldn't believe! Lost the speech. And we have a summer house in Phoenicia. He asked "Where are you from? From the city?" We said "No. We are locals." He said "we know all the locals" ..To make story short, he added extra $1.75 for my blue cheese dressing (we paid) and said " I dont give a f..if you, guys, like food/service or not- Im out of here in a few months". We paid the bill and left feeling mentally and physically abused. The same night and next day we realized we got a food poisoning which is needless to describe.
