BBQ fans should make sure to mark their calendars for a Friday evening this summer and head over to the Turkey Trot. It's known as a popular hunting lodge during turkey season, but this summer they've opened up the lodge for Friday night barbecues that are open to everyone. Living in the Binghamton or Ithaca areas, it's definitely worth the drive to enjoy Pete and Sherry's warm hospitality, delicious smoked BBQ, and a fantastic selection of beers, including options from the Ithaca Beer Company. The setting is truly unique, with a spacious outdoor dining area surrounded by hummingbirds and decorated with vintage album covers and concert posters from the 60s and 70s.
