went there in JANUARY OF THIS YEAR FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. SERVICE WAS PERFECT. OWNER, HENRIETTE WAS AMAZING SHE PERSONALY TOOK TIME OUT TO MAKE SURE WE HAD THE BEST TIME . WE HAD NO RESERVATIONS BUT GOT RITE INN.THIS LANDMARK RESTAURANT HAS BEEN HERE FOR A LONG TIME .I HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPE VINE THIS JEWEL MIGHT BE FOR SALE.

Went there for my bithday with 5 people had the double pork chop dinner with shrimp coctail service was very good the owner Henriette was amazing and very professional week had drinks out on the deck after dinner again Henriette was outstanding she made sure we all had a great time i would definetely come back for the great foodand

when MY BROTHER WAS THE CHEF AT THE WHITE WHALE THE PLACE WAS PACKED BILL MADE THE BEST FOOD , AND SOUPS.My brother has passed away and I am sad to see the ratings on the white whale we had a great time there years ago you should step back in time and it will be a great place again. hello Kevin from green eyes.

Service slow even with the place empty. Had what was supposed to be seafood in a white wine garlic sauce over pasta. Got a plate of rubbery calamari, shrimp and clams. And a flood of chicken broth with garlic thrown in (a lot). Couldn't eat it. Wife had a fish with lemon sauce, got the same chicken broth with lemon juice. Unfortunately she ate some of hers and just threw up and is not feeling well. Manager owner also showed her lack of sanitary practices by carrying the ladies room garbage out to give to someone to throw away and went right back into the dining area. Had gone here for years but it has all gone to hell. Never again.
