This used to be one of my favorite restaurant... Used to be!
The portions have been downsized dramatically:
In years past you got a single portion of a dozen hot and saucy large wings, then a "single" became ten wings a few years ago; now a "single" is eight dry small wings, but the price has increased!
My granddaughter loves spaghetti noodles with butter, the child's portion was reduced by approx. 25% to 30% in serving size, instead of one whole slice of garlic bread cut in two, you now receive a single half piece of garlic bread: cost was $1.95, today it is $3.95
When Eddy was the chef, you could order your "Buffalo Chips" they way you liked them, "crispy" or slightly softer (undercooked by choice). This option is no longer available, you take them as they come, because, we were told, they are made up in large batches ahead of time. They used to serve them with Bison™ chip dip, now they have their own house dip which you have to ask for and they charge extra for a little chip dip.
Speaking of extras:
The blue cheese container is about a third of the old size,(I would guess about an ounce or slightly more), and will cost you $0.85 if you want an extra one. I would guess that they think their ranch sauce is a bargain as that costs only $0.50 per approx. ounce. And if you like your wings the way they used to make them, "wet and messy" you can request extra sauce, for $0.85 per approx. ounce and a half.
So we went out last night: Four adults and two babies. The 4 year old had her noodles, I had wings, wife and son-in-law each had a Rueben sandwich, and daughter had a salad. (2 month old didn't eat) -
Over $66.00
