Growing up in Hempstead, Wings and Things has always been a go-to for delicious, home-cooked style fried chicken and southern sides like collard greens and corn on the cob. The chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the portions are generous for the price, making it way better than the usual fast food chicken spots. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and even with long drive-thru lines, the food is totally worth the wait.

The Hempstead location of Wings and Things is a must-visit for some delicious eats. I've grown up enjoying the great food and friendly atmosphere there. Skip the Elmont location and head to Hempstead for a tasty meal that's better than Popeyes any day!
