Reviews for World Pie

I've been going to World Pie for years. I can't say their pizza is my favorite (nothing against them, I just don't like the flavor of brick oven pizza), but their salads are the best and pretty much everything else I have had has been amazing.. The salmon on the warm salmon salad never tastes fresh, but that's seriously my only food complaint, everything else tastes perfect and I'm picky about fish. The other reviewer agrees with me that their food is great, so I don't understand why the place was given ONE STAR. One star to me says completely, 100% horrible experience. If you can say the food is good, you have no right giving a place only 1 star. 1 star is your service was so bad that you left before you even got your food or your food was dumped on your lap or your food had a bug in it. So, don't listen to the previous reviewer. Every place can have bad waiters/waitresses. It happens. You can't blame the restaurant! If you know anything about the restaurant business, you know turnover can be really, really quick. I've had amazing waiters and waitresses at this place. I've had some so-so, but they never lasted long. As someone who has been to this place many, many times, I say check it out because you won't be disappointed.

If everyone felt the way the previous reviewer did, they wouldn't even be in business any long. World Pie has withstood the test of time and that's something that doesn't surprise me at all.

Oh, I just wanted to specify that the warm salmon salad is my favorite-- it's only the salmon that isn't that great.

07/13/2010 - Horrible Service. Not Worth It.
I live in Water Mill and have gone to World Pie for a few times now. Food is great but service SUCKS! Haven't had a single good dining experience. The waitstaff is rude and the managers don't help. I'd recommend take out.
