After navigating the chaos of the Lunar New Year parade, we found this tiny, bustling eatery where the limited menu delivers big on flavor with dishes like shrimp noodle soup, pan-fried shrimp noodles, and pork on rice. The crispy, savory chicken leg over rice, paired with perfectly balanced salty egg and tangy pickled vegetables, evokes a comforting nostalgia that hits all the right notes without weighing you down. Despite its modest setting and quick, no-frills service, the generous portions and wallet-friendly prices make every bite feel like a delicious celebration of Taiwanese comfort food.
