Today on our first visit to Battered Fish and Chips, we each had the 4 piece battered Cod. The batter is just lightly seasoned, possibly with seasoned salt, but it did not take over the flavour of the cod, and it wasn't at all hot or too spicy. It was perfect. And the fries were very lightly battered as well, and I mean super lightly battered. It wasn't like you could even see the batter that much, but it added just a tiny bit of extra crispness. They were also delicious. You go there and hope that there are available tables, because the whole place only has like under 10 tables, or else you're getting your order for take away. I also appreciated that they offer malt vinegar and a lot of different dipping sauces, so move over tarter sauce. The only thing I didn't like was that their single bathroom for both gendres had no lock on their bathroom door. There's a button to lock it, but it doesn't work. I guess that last year, they did not have aire conditioning, but I was pleasantly surprised that they have it now, thank heavens. So hopefully they will service their bathroom door's lock soon. I have also heard that it's easy for them to run out of some of their items early in the day, so keep that in mind so you don't get caught off guard and have to disappoint your taste buds. Also, their prices are moderately high, but when you taste the food, you will not at all feel cheated, because it was the best Fish 'n Chips I've ever had.
