Thank you Fabio & Dey! It was Dey's first day and she was attentive and so sweet. Fabio was a pro!
We had an incredible Miami Spice meal at Brassiere Laurel. The cocktails with absinthe were beautifully crafted and refreshing , not too sweet, just perfectly finessed!
The food ooh la la!! Fresh sourdough with butter and anchovies. The crudo with pickled pear and spanish oil was fresh, the duck sausage with mustard, juicy and absolutely incredible! Please put it on your menu!
We followed with mussels with fennel and a decadent bread to sop up the delicious broth and pork with a rich sauce!
We ended the meal with an incredible baba rhum. I tried this at a cosy restaurant in the south of France earlier this year and let me tell you this was better!! The sorbet too was so refreshing and creamy.
Unlike some restaurants what stood out for me was the food was not extremely heavy, the drinks and desert not too sweet. It was just right and that is a tough balance to achieve. I will definitely be back!
