Probably gonna get a bunch of backlash for and I won't say any names but i highly suggest not eating at woodlands connected to the BP in town. I worked there for 2 weeks and the bugs (roaches mainly) were so bad they were told by pest control they would need to shut down in order to resolve it, which they have refused to do. My last day working there I saw a mouse run across the floor in the back of the kitchen. I immediately called one of the managers to let them know and he told me "they won't hurt me" and to go back to work. Then he texted in the group chat without me on the schedule, his sorry, pathetic way of firing me. Even making jokes about how the roaches are customers and that they can eat there, too. I've found roaches in my water cup and got sick along with my son after only a few days of working there. This restaurant has amazed me in the worst way, especially with the way he talks to his employees, calling us names and having relations with one of them despite having a wife and child. The icing on the cake is everyday they would claim my drawer was short and make me pay for it when 1. I've had multiple jobs where I had to handle cash and I've never come up short 2. they refused to let me count my own drawer during shift change to ensure I wasn't paying for someone else's mistakes, and they weren't paying for mine. Not to mention the owner takes half the tips we make. Worst job I've ever had. If anyone knows of any jobs hiring and/or places to rent in the area please let me know as I am a single mother, my son is 7 months old and I've been struggling to get on my feet since late January.
