I was excited to visit the newly renovated Hunters Hut on Birchmount. It was a very hot day and the air conditioning was not working very well. There were bees in the window at the inside of the restaurant. The waitress said she knew about them. We ordered cheese burger and classic burger with fries. My hamburger was inedible even though I asked for it to be cooked well done. I cut the burger in half and saw it had been cooked thoroughly. I took a few bites of the other half and ate some fries. The waitress asked if the food was okay and I said "No it was not good". She took my plate away. I was not offered the chance to order something else. I was not offered any discount. I paid 10.29 plus taxes for a meal that was not eaten. (order 13 and we paid cash) My point is that I could have been offered not to pay for this inedible burger. My friend and I live in the vicinity of the restaurant but we will not be returning anytime soon.
