Being of English descent, we were quite interested in the announcement that Afternoon Tea was to be served in the Ben Lomond Hotel. We made a booking for the November 4 event and arrived dressed suitably for this somewhat "special event". We were told that it had been cancelled since we were the only booking. Common courtesy would have dictated that we be informed beforehand but we were not!!
