While traveling west, I stopped here to pick up boudin to bring back to Texas, and choosing to return a few days later confirmed my satisfaction with their offerings. Located just off I-10 at the Scott exit, this establishment provides a variety of freshly prepared Cajun foods, including smoked and regular boudin, boudin balls, and daily lunch specials, all served by polite and efficient staff in a clean and well-organized setting.

During a recent road trip, I made a stop at a local spot off I-10 at the Scott exit service road to grab some boudin for my Texas friends, and ended up returning a few days later on my way back to Baton Rouge. This place, which has been around for several years, used to be the go-to for boudin right off the interstate, but now there are more options at this exit. Despite the competition, the locals still flock here for the hot, freshly cooked offerings and the daily lunch specials, like the delicious stuffed pork chop with green beans and rice that I enjoyed for a reasonable price.

Stopped today to get some boudin. Guys"¦what happened to the boudin? The flavor was not nearly what it used to be.. You guys had the best in town for so long"¦what happened?

I go every chance I get because it is so worth the trip. This round I got cracklings, a king cake , pickled okra, and some seasonings. I was not disappointed. I'm already planning my next trip!

We go out of our way to Lafayette, via Scott for Don's boudin and cracklings then we order regularly on line from our home in Florida! This is addictive and great for breakfast,lunch or dinner-seasoned perfectly and so tasty, not too hot either. Just wonderful!!!! All their foods are great!! Just an FYI have coffee if you eat Spicy foods and it will cut the heat asap-learned that from a waitress in Guatemala when I mistook green chiles for onions😅😂😱😰😡
