The food here is consistently delicious, with the pizza being fresh and the burgers impressively large. The outdoor area is a great spot to relax, especially with live music on weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Rachel and the rest of the staff always greet us warmly, making each visit feel like catching up with old friends.

Great New York style pizza here in Bath. This is our go-to place for Friday night pizza night.

We visit once a year from Washington state and eat at Blackbeards a few times during our stay. The garlic knots are fresh, home made and fabulous. We've never gotten anything there we haven't liked and when in the area during the summer the sorbets are delightfully refreshing. Mom said she went one day when some busses of sports teams were there and that day the service wasn't up to par because they were bombarded. Any of the multiple times we've been the service has been great.

We had the worst experience at this restaurant.
Tourist should be careful about this place.

Great pizzas and subs. If you're in Bath and want to go out for a bite to eat, I'd suggest Blackbeards Slices & Ices. I've had quite a few things off their menu and was never disappointed. The atmosphere is pretty cool and laid back. Especially in the summer and spring when you can sit on their huge deck outside and listen to some live music while you eat drink and enjoy a wonderful view of the Pamlico River right at the foot of the bridge.

Well that's very funny JD, because we were at Blackbeard's on the 30th as well!!! The bread was comparable to bread you get in NY, very soft and fresh right out of the oven. The pizza was loaded with a generous portion of cheese and sauce and cooked to perfection!!! My family and I were vacationing nearby, and we ate there the whole weekend!!! The entertainment was delightful!! Giving young adults a chance to have their talents heard, was very heartwarming. The waitstaff was very polite and professional and treated us very nice. I will recommend and go to Blackbeard's whenever the chance arises!!! Hats off to the owners and to the chef!!! Delicious!!!!

Disgusting. Waiters had their thumbs in the food as they brought it to the table, tables were left dirty for over an hour, and took 30 minutes just to get drinks. Food was bland and overcooked. Pizza was greasy, burnt, and the crust was tough. Bread for the subs was stale. Definitely not impressed, and definitely won't come back.

No way! The food was GREAT! And had wonderful service, they were even open the Sunday before Memorial day, pizza was definitely worth waiting 30 minutes for! Reasonably priced and wonderful location 5 stars from me!

A wonderful place to eat in Bath. We do a lot of cycling and always head from Washington to Blackbeards for lunch. Pizza, pasta, whatever you want. They have some pretty good sweet tea too! Sitting on the back deck with the breeze and overlooking beautiful Bath Creek doesn't get any better. They are closed on Mondays though.

excellent pizza, either by the pie or the slice. delicious marinara and pizza sauce. the chef has been branching out to other entrees, hamburgers, steak, shrimp, chicken, home cooking fare. dine outdoors or in, live music on saturday nights. don't leave without trying the italian ice or tiramisu. a fabulous addition to our very small town!
